After some days without updating, today I want to focus my post on skincare. Men's skin is much thicker and oilier than woman's, and it ages differently. Our skin starts losing fat around the age of 40, at a higher speed than woman's, so its important to use a very nourishing lotion to avoid it. 'Till then we have to maintain a correct level of moisture in order to protect the skin and prevent premature wrinkling.

Después de unos días sin actualizar, hoy quiero centrar la entrada en el cuidado de la piel. El cutis del hombre es más grueso y graso que el de la mujer y envejece de forma distinta. Nuestra piel empieza a perder grasa a partir de los 40, a mayor velocidad que la de la mujer, por lo que es importante usar una loción muy nutritiva para evitarlo. Hasta entonces tenemos que mantener unos niveles correctos de hidratación para evitar así el envejecimiento prematuro.

People who know me now I'm a huge fan of perfumes, and today I went to one of the best perfume shops in Spain. It is called Erlai, and its located in Bilbao (where I am from), and they have the greatest selection of luxe perfumery and cosmetics with brands like Aqua di Parma, a favourite of my own, or Serge Lutens. So today I visited them and I tried the Fantastic Man's and Byredo`s perfume, that I was so looking forward to smell. I must admit it did not live up to my expectations, however its fresh bergamot and moss smell has very much captured me. 

La gente que me conoce sabe que me fascinan los perfumes, y hoy he ido a una de las mejores perfumerías de España. Se llama Erlai, y está en Bilbao (de donde soy), y tienen la mejor selección de perfumería de lujo y cosméticos con marcas como Aqua di Parma, una de mis favoritas, o Serge Lutens. Así que hoy les he visitado y he probado el perfume resultante de la colaboración entre Fantastic Man y Byredo. He de admitir que tenía muchas expectativas depositadas en este perfume, aún así su fresco olor a bergamota y musgo me ha cautivado.

Byredo Parfums presented last September a new parfum in collaboration with the art and design studio M/M Paris. They've created this new scent starting from the end, M/M invited Ben Gorham to their place in Paris, and presented him a creative direction and concept — a block of solid ink purchased in Asia, a photograph showing a Japanese master practising his daily calligraphy, and a large utopian formula that Mathias drew on Korean traditional paper. Together with renowned perfumer Jérôme Epinette of Robertet, Byredo translated this concept into a brand new fragrance. M/Mink can be purchased online on their website starting at 95€.

El pasado septiembre Byredo Parfums presentó su nueva colaboración con el estudio de arte y diseño M/M Paris. Han creado esta nueva fragancia comenzando desde el final, M/M invitó a Ben Gorhan a su local en París y le presentaron una dirección creativa y un concepto — un bloque solido de tinta comprado en Asia, una fotografía de un maestro japonés practicando su caligrafía diaria y una enorme fórmula utópica que Mathias dibujó en un papel tradicional Koreano. En colaboración con el afamado perfumista Jérôme Epinette de Robertet, Byredo trasladó este concepto a una nueva fragancia. La colonia está disponible online en su web a partir de 95€.
