After some days without updating, today I want to focus my post on skincare. Men's skin is much thicker and oilier than woman's, and it ages differently. Our skin starts losing fat around the age of 40, at a higher speed than woman's, so its important to use a very nourishing lotion to avoid it. 'Till then we have to maintain a correct level of moisture in order to protect the skin and prevent premature wrinkling.

Después de unos días sin actualizar, hoy quiero centrar la entrada en el cuidado de la piel. El cutis del hombre es más grueso y graso que el de la mujer y envejece de forma distinta. Nuestra piel empieza a perder grasa a partir de los 40, a mayor velocidad que la de la mujer, por lo que es importante usar una loción muy nutritiva para evitarlo. Hasta entonces tenemos que mantener unos niveles correctos de hidratación para evitar así el envejecimiento prematuro.

Lately I've been quite obsessed with knitwear. I love its texture and the old school look, and it really goes with anything. Here in the picture a great jumper by Tommy Hilfiger, brand that I dont like much, but that has created this really cool top, starting at 130$. More inspiration after the jump.

Llevo un tiempo ya obsesionado con el punto. Me encanta su textura y rollo "old school" que da, y realmente pega con todo. People who know me now I'm a huge fan of perfumes, and today I went to one of the best perfume shops in Spain. It is called Erlai, and its located in Bilbao (where I am from), and they have the greatest selection of luxe perfumery and cosmetics with brands like Aqua di Parma, a favourite of my own, or Serge Lutens. So today I visited them and I tried the Fantastic Man's and Byredo`s perfume, that I was so looking forward to smell. I must admit it did not live up to my expectations, however its fresh bergamot and moss smell has very much captured me. 

La gente que me conoce sabe que me fascinan los perfumes, y hoy he ido a una de las mejores perfumerías de España. Se llama Erlai, y está en Bilbao (de donde soy), y tienen la mejor selección de perfumería de lujo y cosméticos con marcas como Aqua di Parma, una de mis favoritas, o Serge Lutens. Así que hoy les he visitado y he probado el perfume resultante de la colaboración entre Fantastic Man y Byredo. He de admitir que tenía muchas expectativas depositadas en este perfume, aún así su fresco olor a bergamota y musgo me ha cautivado.

First of all I must apologize for not updating the blog this days. My computer has not been working very properly lately, the display didn't work for some reason... However today, it turned out to work, so here I am, writing a little bit. I've designed this christmas card for all of you, and I just wanted to wish you a great christmas time and all of my best wishes. By the way, thanks for all the visits I've had even though I hadn't written anything, tomorrow it will all be back to normal.

Primero de todo tengo que disculparme por no actualizar el blog estos días. Mi portatil no funcionaba, algo le pasaba a la pantalla que no se encendía. Por alguna misteriosa razón hoy ha decidido volver a encenderse, así que aquí estoy, escribiendo un poco. He diseñado esta postal de navidad para todos vosotros, y tan solo quería felicitaros estas fiestas y desearos todo lo mejor. Por cierto, muchas gracias a toda la gente que me ha seguido visitando incluso cuando no actualizaba, mañana todo va a volver a la normalidad.

No Layout is a digital library for independent publishers, focused on art books and magazines. You can find magazines from Fantastic Man, Blitz to Monu or 291. Is a really good site, especially because you don't need to download the files or anything, you can always find them online. I very much recommend it.

No Layout es una librería digital para publicaciones independientes, enfocada en libros de arte y revistas. Puedes encontrar desde revista como Fantastic Man, Blitz a Monu o 291. Realmente es una gran web, especialmente porque no hace falta bajarse ningún archivo y siempre puedes encontrar todo online. Lo recomiendo muy encarecidamente.

H&M and Fantastic Man paired up for a stunning advertorial this summer. Featuring their sartorial line, the models Bastian Ninaber, Vincent Lacrocq and Ryan B were photographed by Benjamin Alexander Useby on a paradisiac dessert. Protagonizada por la línea sastre de la marca, los modelos Bastian Ninaber, Vincent Lacrocq y Ryan B fotografiados por Benjamin Alexander Useby aparece en un paradisíaco desierto. Over a month ago I voted for a reprint of this t-shirt on Threadless and yesterday, finally, I received an e-mail informing me that the reprint was accepted. So after a long wait I have my t-shirt! well, not just yet, I hope I'll get it by christmas or so, anyway, I'm really happy I got it. The problem is that, once I started to buy some stuff, i couldn´t stop, and after the jump you can find what happened...

Hace más de un mes voté por un reprint de esta camiseta en Threadless y ayer, finalmente, recibí un mail informandome de que habían aceptado el reprint. Asi que después de una larga espera tendré mi camiseta! bueno, todavía no, espero que me llegue para navidades o así, aunque la verdad es que estoy encantado de habermela cogido. My so loved house Smythson has created this marvellous travelling wallet. I so feel it's an indispensable, very little men have a small purse were to carry the money, the cards a notebook and a small grooming product. That is why I think this wallet is so great, it makes the ladylike carry-all-you-need philosophy so manly and classy.

Mi tan amada casa Smythson ha creado esta maravillosa cartera de viaje. Creo que es un indispensable, pocos hombres llevan un pequeño bolso donde llevar el dinero, las tarjetas, un cuaderno y algún pequeño producto de aseo. Por eso creo que esta cartera es tan especial, hace de la filosofía femenina de lleva-todo-lo-que-necesites algo masculino y clásico.

I like flea markets, I like the special allure and enchantment they are full of, and how they make the ordinary extraordinary. I specially love the one in the city I'm from (Bilbao). It's the first saturday of the month, but the most special one is the one that is celebrated the second of May. Last time I went with my friend Ana Nicholson and I must say that the most memorable thing was the nice and hot cup of green tea with fresh mint we tried. So enjoy this warm break.

Me gustan los mercadillos, me gusta su atractivo y su especial encanto, y como hacen de lo ordinario algo extraordinario. Me gustan especialmente él de mi ciudad (Bilbao). Se celebra el primer sábado de cada mes pero el día más especial es el 2 de mayo. La última vez fuí con mi amiga Ana Nicholson, I tengo que decir que lo que más disfruté fue el vasito de te verde calentito con menta fresca que pudimos segustar. Disfrutad de esta pausa.
